Comes Back Every Year
Nice to meet you, my name is Snowcap Shasta Daisy! I am best known for my abundant white flowers and their golden yellow centers and my contrasting deep green foliage, and I serve as a beautiful focal point when mass planted in your garden. Not only am I beautiful, I have a very high bloom rate and you can count on me to sprout lots of flowers all the way from early summer to fall. I require occasional maintenance, all I ask is that you make sure I am never left in standing water, and give me a little trim in the fall to prepare me for winter. Other than this, I am very easy to make happy. I love all types of soil, love my time in the sun, and I'm very tolerant of urban pollution - you can plant me right in the city!

- Snowcap Shasta Daisy is a compact and low-maintenance perennial that produces masses of pure white, fully double flowers with yellow centres.
- It blooms profusely in early to midsummer, and the flowers are held on strong stems above a tidy mound of dark green, lance-shaped leaves.
- Snowcap is a perfect choice for adding brightness to borders, rock gardens, or mixed container plantings, and it attracts butterflies and other pollinators to the garden.
- Watering: The Snowcap Shasta Daisy requires consistent watering, especially during dry spells or when planted in a container. Water the plant deeply once a week, providing enough water to moisten the soil to a depth of 6 inches.
- Maintenance: Remove spent blooms regularly to encourage the plant to produce new flowers. Additionally, divide the plant every two to three years to promote healthy growth.
- Pruning: In-season, deadhead the spent flowers to encourage new blooms and maintain the plant's shape. After the first hard frost in the fall, cut the plant back to a height of 3 inches to prepare it for winter.
- (Optional):Fertilize using a balanced fertilizer applied in early spring.
