Ruffled Velvet Siberian Iris

Hello! My name is Ruffled Velvet Iris, and you can easily spot me by my showy tufts of violet-blue flowers which stretch high above my lush foliage, reaching 3 feet tall at full maturity. I am a plant that likes to show off, and my vibrant colors and unique flag-shaped flowers will be sure to steal the show in any spring garden, especially when mass planted. The only thing not impressed with me, are the deer - they typically leave me alone in favor of other tastier treats. I am low maintenance and very adaptable; I thrive in full sun to partial shade, am not particular to soil, can grow in wet conditions, and will even tolerate standing water and urban pollution. I am easy to look at, and even easier to grow - the full package!
