Hello, I am Red Baron Japanese Blood Grass. I am best known for my attractive grassy leaves which are white in color during the summer, then shift to a deep red in the fall, making me the perfect plant to help transition your garden from summer into autumn. I am often used to add delicate detail to your garden with my fine texture, and my long lifespan of 20 years means I will be contributing to your garden for years to come. I am low maintenance, thrive in all soil types, and only require a bit of spring clean up before I resume my growing season in the summer. My few requests are that I am never left in standing water or planted in the city - I am allergic to urban pollution and very dramatic when my feet get wet!
