• Watering: Water deeply once a week during the first growing season to help establish the root system. Once established, Russian Sage is drought-tolerant and only needs to be watered during prolonged periods of drought.
• Pruning: In early spring, cut back the previous year's growth to a few inches above the ground. Throughout the growing season, deadhead spent flowers to encourage more blooms. At the end of the growing season, cut back the plant to just above ground level.
• (Optional):Fertilizer: Russian Sage doesn't require fertilizer, but you can apply a balanced, slow-release fertilizer in early spring to encourage growth.

Planting trees or plants is easy! First, begin by digging a hole that's twice as wide as the root ball and just as deep. Place the tree or plant in the hole and add some bonemeal fertilizer. Backfill with fresh soil if needed and water thoroughly. Water regularly until roots are established to keep the plant healthy. Enjoy your new tree or plant!
